Theory Thursday: Persistence

Just a few minutes ago, I logged into my Paypal account in an attempt to transfer $0.65 from Paypal to my checking account. I was rejected. Apparently, the most one can withdraw from Paypal is $1.00; and sadly, I don’t have that kind of money. In fact, right now I have negative money. I have about -$8.68 in my account right now, and I would like to add something… anything so I can have a positive balance again. My Sharebuilder account took money out of my account and then the credit union charged me an additional fee for not having money in my account. This system is a little stupid, if you ask me. (And you didn’t.)
However, the most important thing to think about right now is where I got that $0.65 from. The answer? Triond. I write articles with Triond.com and based on the advertiser revenue I earn from the Yahoo ads, they deposit a percentage of those earnings in my account as long as I earn above $0.50. I’ve been with Triond.com since October of last year, and each month I make from $0.60 to $0.70. Right now, that may not seem like so much (it sure doesn’t pay the bills), but I’ve been participating in the Triond community a great deal, and I know that if I just keep writing articles of interest, then I can start making decent money. There are some members who make from $100 to $200 a month with Triond. Usually, the number of articles one writes is an important aspect of earning with Triond. I’ve written about 10 articles thus far, and that’s nothing compared to some Triond aficionados. Right now, my goal for Triond is $100/month. It appears I have a long way to go.
The best way to earn with Triond is to make friends with the community. My plan is to allocate at least a couple hours a week working on sending people messages, commenting, and writing articles. These days I’ve been really busy trying to set up some “stable” sources of income by creating blogs, signing up for paid blogging sites, affiliate programs, etc. My boyfriend often teases me about all the time I spend online, checking my myriad of money-making ventures. But it’s already beginning to pay off–just at a very slow rate. Anyone will tell you, the best way to earn money online is to just keep trying. There are ways, it’s just a matter of persistence.
Honestly, I do get tired of reading about persistence when it comes to earning online, but there are so many broke people out there trying to market their products, so they spend a little money to do so. Then there are people out there like me who have been searching for opportunities to make money, but the only opportunities out there are from companies/people with not a lot of money to spend. Thus, the money from from popularity. The only to way to start making money from the Big Dogs/Fat Cats it get your name/pen name out there as often as possible. I use a number of promotion sites like SUExchange, LinkReferral, Entrecard, BlogCatalog, posting links on my blog, my profiles, forums, anything I can think of. Just be candid–be honest, and get your name out there. It takes a lot of commenting, clicking, skimming, scanning, and blogging, but eventually it pays off. Start small. Try blogging once a week, and then allot half an hour to each promotion site a day. Seem pleasant or funny, and ask people to leave you comments. Or, start a contest and give out a prize that will serve to benefit your fellow blogger’s popularity. When you’re blogging, try not to think of being alone. Constantly think of your audience and what they may want to get out of your writing/content/blog/blurb. That’s my theory, anyway.

Hey there: congrats on your earnings with triond; I am there too but only have three things on there so I’m not even “earning” yet LOL! I need to do a blog on my sites that I belong too, so that others like you can check them out if you aren’t already a member of them;
you can email me too if you like for more sites to earn from
if you like until I get around to making my own page here;
good luck to you!!!
